Reverse description Central field bearing the Kalima (Islamic profession of faith) arranged in multiple lines within a circular border or linear frame, with the mint and date legend disposed in the outer margin. The Arabic script is rendered in the characteristic naskh style of Golden Horde coinage, with the circular arrangement of the outer legend referencing the mint name al-Maqrus (Crimea) and the AH year 720. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the die, a typical feature of hammered Golden Horde dirhams.
