Reverse description Arabic legend in multiple lines occupying the central field, giving the mint name and AH date, enclosed within concentric linear and dotted border circles. The inscription reads 'Mint of Azaq, year 937' (AH), corresponding to 1338 CE. The flan is irregular and slightly off-center, as is typical of hammered Golden Horde dirhams of this period. The reverse die shows the bold, angular script characteristic of Azaq mint issues under Uzbeg Khan.
