| Obverse description | Central field bearing a three-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script reading 'al-Sultan al-'Adil / Khayr Pulad Khan / Atala Allah mulkahu' (The Just Sultan / Khayr Pulad Khan / May God prolong his reign). The inscription is struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of hammered Golden Horde silver coinage, with the legend filling the entire field without a defined border. The lettering is deeply struck and boldly rendered, characteristic of mid-14th century Jochid minting practice. |
