Obverse description Multi-line Arabic legend struck in relief on an irregular flan, typical of Golden Horde hammered coinage. The inscription is arranged in three horizontal registers across the field, rendered in a bold Naskh-influenced script. The legend proclaims the royal titulature of Khan Jani Beg, reading 'Sultan the Just Jalal al-Din Jani Beg Khan.' The strike is moderately well-centered, with characteristic flan irregularity at the edges.
