Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in the field, recording the mint name and regnal year in a similar bold epigraphic style. A decorative curved cartouche or arc divides the inscription, a device commonly employed on Golden Horde dirhams of this period. The legend references the Tabriz mint and the year of issue (AH 757-758). The outer border on this side shows traces of a beaded or dotted circle, partially visible due to the irregular flan shape. The overall die engraving is characteristic of the Tabriz mint workshops under Jani Beg's authority.
