Obverse description The obverse features bold Arabic calligraphic inscription filling the field in multiple lines, executed in a characteristic Golden Horde epigraphic style. The legend reads 'Sultan the Just Janibeq Khan' in flowing naskh script with prominent strokes. The irregular flan, typical of hammered Central Asian and Mongol coinage, results in partially visible or softly struck areas near the periphery. No border or decorative frame is present; the inscription occupies virtually the entire coin surface. The silver surface displays natural die-struck relief with some granularity consistent with the alloy used.
