| Reverse description | The reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in the central area of the flan, giving the mint name, regnal formula, and the AH date of issue in the customary Golden Horde format. The legend records the place of striking as Saray al-Jadida (New Sarai) and the hijri year, rendered as either 746 AH (Sagdeeva #229) or 747 AH (Sagdeeva #230). The script is a compact Naskh-style Arabic, deeply hammered into the silver flan, with strokes radiating energetically across the field. As is typical of Jochid issues, the reverse carries no figurative imagery, relying solely on the epigraphic content. The irregular outline of the planchet, visible around the periphery, reflects the hand-struck production method standard for this series. |
