Jani Beg's reign over the Golden Horde ran from 1342 to 1357 and marked the political apex of the khanate — the moment before the dynastic implosion that followed his death. The "dang" denomination was the standard unit of Jani Beg's monetary system, struck across multiple mints simultaneously. Cross-referencing Sagdeeva #267 with Zeno specimens shows meaningful die variation across Khwarizm output, worth examining before attribution is finalized.
