Obverse description Decorative field featuring a central composition divided into quadrants by two intersecting lines, populated with stylized animal figures in the Mongol artistic tradition. The upper register displays a central enthroned or crouching figure flanked by vertical striations, with a solar or lunar symbol above. The lower register contains three additional zoomorphic or anthropomorphic figures in dynamic postures, rendered in a bold, deeply struck relief characteristic of Golden Horde hammered coinage. The overall design reflects the syncretistic Mongol-Islamic decorative vocabulary common to Jani Beg-era dirhams.
