| Reverse description | Reverse field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in relief, identifying the mint city of Saray al-Jadida (New Saray) and the date of issue in the Hijri calendar, consistent with Golden Horde monetary convention. The script is rendered in a cursive, somewhat compressed hand with diacritical dots visible in the field. The flan is irregular in outline, with the legend occupying the full available surface in the manner characteristic of late fourteenth-century Jochid dirhams. Slight double-striking and flan irregularities are noted. |
