| Reverse description | The reverse field is filled entirely with a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in three horizontal registers across the coin's surface, without a framing device. The uppermost register contains a brief introductory word or title, while the two principal registers below record the ruler's name and honorific titles in flowing Naskh-influenced script. A curved line or partial arc divides the lower portion of the field, a stylistic feature occasionally observed on Ghurid issues of this series. The absence of a geometric frame gives the reverse a more open, manuscript-like calligraphic character compared to the structured obverse. |
