Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in naskh script reading the royal titulature of Sultan al-Muzaffar Hajji I: 'al-Sultan al-Malik al-Muzaffar Sayf al-Dunya wa-l-Din Hajji'. The legends are arranged in three horizontal registers across the flan, with bold raised lettering characteristic of Mamluk hammered silver coinage. The coin exhibits an irregular, slightly clipped flan typical of mid-14th century Mamluk dirhams. No figurative imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention.
