Obverse description Central field contains a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a dotted inner circle, giving the ruler's name and titles in Naskhi script. The inscription reads in several lines referencing Al-Malik Al-Mansur Nuraddin 'Umar. A decorative beaded border separates the inner circle from the outer marginal legend, which runs continuously around the coin's circumference in Arabic script. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of hand-struck Rasulid dirhams. The overall style is typical of Yemeni hammered silver coinage of the mid-7th century AH.

Reverse description Central field bears a three-line Arabic religious inscription within a dotted inner circle, containing the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith): 'La ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad rasul / Allah'. An outer marginal legend in Arabic script encircles the coin, separated from the central field by a beaded border. The flan is irregularly shaped with uneven edges, consistent with hammered coinage of the Rasulid period in Yemen. The script is rendered in a bold Naskhi style typical of 13th-century Yemeni silver issues.
