Obverse description Central field occupied by multiple lines of bold Arabic inscription in naskh script, presenting the name and titles of the Mamluk Sultan al-'Adil Kitbugha. The legends are arranged in stacked horizontal registers across the flan, typical of Mamluk hammered silver coinage. The coin exhibits an irregular, slightly squared flan with visible flan preparation marks at the edges. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered production, resulting in uneven relief and partial weakness at the periphery. No figural imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention.
