Reverse description Central field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription within a rectangular cartouche, presenting the royal titulature of the issuing sultan. The legend identifies the ruler as Amir al-Mu'minin (Commander of the Faithful), the Imam 'Abd Allah al-Ghalib, followed by the mint and regnal year formula. The script is rendered in Maghrebi cursive style characteristic of Saadian dynastic coinage struck at Fez. The coin's irregular flan and variable strike depth are consistent with hammered manufacture. No figurative imagery appears on this side, in accordance with Islamic numismatic tradition.
