The legends, which include the royal titulature of Sultan Abd al-Aziz and the mint name, are distributed symmetrically around the central motif. A beaded border encircles the entire design. The engraving style reflects the refined workmanship of the Monnaie de Paris, with well-struck, high-relief Arabic lettering characteristic of late 19th-century Moroccan silver coinage. |
