| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the Seal of Solomon (six-pointed star) enclosed within a circle, with a small raised pellet at its centre. The star and circle motif is surrounded by flowing Arabic inscriptions arranged in four quadrants around the field, rendered in an ornate Maghrebi script. The Hijri date 1313 appears in Arabic-Indic numerals prominently at the base of the design, separated from the central motif by a raised inner border. The entire composition is enclosed within a plain raised rim. |
