Reverse description The reverse bears a three-line Arabic inscription in ornate Maghrebi calligraphic script filling the entire field, denoting the denomination as one-tenth of the Riyal of Sultan Abd al-Aziz. The flowing script is arranged in sweeping horizontal registers across the coin's face. A continuous beaded border frames the design along the periphery, consistent with Moroccan coinage of the Alaoui dynasty of this period.
