| Obverse description | Bearded head of Herakles in right profile, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress, the scalp and forepaws draped over the crown and tied beneath the chin. The facial features are rendered with considerable detail, showing a strong brow, prominent nose, and open lips in the Hellenistic tradition. The lion skin's mane is visible along the periphery of the bust, framing the hero's face. The flan is slightly irregular, with a dotted border visible along the right rim. |
