| Reverse description | Forepart of a bull facing left, rendered in fine relief within a shallow incuse square, with the head turned frontally to show both horns and detailed facial features including large eyes and a prominent muzzle. The Greek magistrate inscription ΚΛΕΑΝ appears to the left of the bull's head in the field, identifying the issuing magistrate Kleantides. The incuse square border is clearly defined, characteristic of early Thracian civic coinage. |
