Obverse description Jugate confronted male heads filling the field, both depicted as youthful and unbearded; one head is shown in normal upright orientation while the second is inverted, a distinctive and iconic device of Istrian coinage. The faces are rendered in archaic Greek style with strong, naturalistic modelling. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse.
