Obverse description Forepart of a winged boar advancing to right, the body rendered in low relief with incised linear detailing on the outstretched wing, which fans broadly to the left. The animal's bristled head faces right with a prominent snout, and the forelegs are depicted in a striding posture. The type is the civic badge of Klazomenai, executed in the archaic Ionian style characteristic of late 5th-century BC Asia Minor coinage. No legend or inscription appears in the field.

Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided by two intersecting raised ridges into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, the standard mill-sail or windmill incuse pattern characteristic of early Ionian silver coinage. The surface of each quadrant displays an irregular granular texture resulting from the hammered striking technique. No inscription or subsidiary device appears within the incuse. The design is purely functional, serving as the reverse punch of the archaic die.
