Obverse description A he-goat advances to the right in profile, its head turned back to the left in a characteristic retrograde pose. The animal is rendered in a bold, archaic style with compact, rounded musculature typical of early Macedonian coinage. Two pellets appear in the field, serving as control marks. The flan is irregular, consistent with early fifth-century BC hammered silver production.
