Obverse description Central field features a long Latin cross extending to the coin's edge, flanked on either side by stylized foliate or vegetal scrollwork rendered in a Romanesque manner. The legend ARAGON appears in crude Latin capitals divided across the upper field on either side of the cross shaft. The overall design is characteristic of 11th-century Iberian hammered billon coinage, with an irregular flan and somewhat worn die workmanship typical of the period.

Reverse description Primitive facing or left-facing bust of King Sancho V (Ramírez) depicted in a schematic Romanesque style within a beaded inner circle, showing a stylized face with large eye, short hair, and truncated shoulders. The surrounding legend in crude Latin capitals reads SANCIVS REX, distributed around the beaded border. The execution is characteristically archaic, consistent with 11th-century Navarrese-Aragonese hammered coinage, with an irregular flan and a dotted border enclosing the royal effigy.
