Obverse description Crowned bust of Philip II facing left, wearing a crown with prominent points over a draped neckline, rendered in the crude stylized manner typical of Valencian hammered billon coinage. The effigy occupies the central field, with the partial legend PHILIPPVS · D · G disposed around the periphery, though partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The portrait retains the characteristic schematic treatment of the period, with visible facial features and crown detail despite considerable surface wear.
