| Obverse description | A plain Latin cross with equal arms dominates the central field, extending nearly to the inner beaded circle. The four quadrants formed by the cross are plain. The legend IHESUS runs around the periphery between the inner beaded border and the outer rim, characteristic of the medieval Leonese dinero coinage of Alfonso VII. |
