Reverse description Zoroastrian fire altar at center, depicted as a stepped base supporting a fluted shaft with a flame burning at the top, flanked by two attendant figures facing the altar. The figure to the left wears a Sasanian crown with globus and holds a staff or scepter, while the figure to the right similarly crowned bears a sword. Above the altar shaft, royal and divine symbols appear in the field. Pahlavi inscriptions appear in the left and right fields. The entire design is contained within a beaded border typical of Sasanian gold coinage.
