Reverse description Central field displays multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic inscription within a beaded inner circle, proclaiming religious formulae and the name of the caliph Sulayman. A circular marginal legend runs along the outer band between two beaded borders, recording the mint and date in accordance with standard Andalusian Umayyad dinar typology. The overall execution is in hammered relief with slightly irregular flan, consistent with hand-struck gold coinage of the Taifa period.
