Obverse description Full-length frontal effigy of Despot Stefan Lazarević in elaborate royal attire, depicted standing facing the viewer with notably prominent curly hair. In his raised right hand he holds a lily-tipped scepter, while his left hand rests upon his hip. The figure is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of late medieval Serbian hammered coinage. A partial Cyrillic legend appears in the field.
