Obverse description Armored equestrian figure of Despot Stefan Lazarević depicted in right profile, mounted on a stepping horse and bearing a lance or sword in a martial pose typical of medieval Serbian dynastic coinage. The ruler is shown wearing a helmet and plate armor, conveying both military authority and sovereign dignity. The design is executed in low relief in the crude but vigorous hammered style characteristic of late medieval Serbian dinars. The irregular flan results in partial striking, with portions of the design occasionally lost at the edges. No legible legend is present on this side.
