Reverse description A fire altar decorated with hanging ribbons occupies the center, with a royal bust emerging leftward from the flames atop the altar, a hallmark of Sasanian dynastic religious iconography. The altar is flanked by two standing attendants facing inward, each holding a sword upright in both hands in a ceremonial posture. The left attendant wears an eagle crown with korymbos, mirroring the obverse royal crown, while the right attendant is distinguished by a mural crown with korymbos. The composition reflects the deep Zoroastrian religious significance of the sacred fire in Sasanian imperial ideology.
