| Reverse description | Christ Pantokrator depicted standing facing on a suppedion, rendered in a hieratic Byzantine style. Stars appear to the left and right of the figure, accompanied by a trefoil ornament flanking the effigy. The Christological monogram legend 'ІС ХС' (Jesus Christ) is placed in the field to either side of the standing figure in Cyrillic characters. The overall composition reflects the strong Byzantine artistic influence prevalent in medieval Serbian numismatic iconography of the Mrnjavčević period. |
