Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in angular Kufic-influenced script, reading the royal titles and name of the ruler. The inscription is contained within a plain inner circle, itself enclosed by a prominent outer border of raised pellets running around the full circumference. The hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregular edges and surface undulation typical of medieval Islamic gold coinage. The script is boldly struck and occupies virtually the entire visible field with no figural imagery, consistent with orthodox Sunni numismatic tradition.
