| Reverse description | A goddess, identified as Lakshmi or Sri, is depicted seated in frontal position upon a lotus throne, rendered in the schematic, boldly modelled style typical of First Lohar Dynasty gold dinars. The deity holds a lotus flower in one hand and a vase (kalasha) in the other, attributes consistent with iconographic traditions of royal legitimacy and divine favour in medieval Kashmiri coinage. The design fills the irregular flan, with details of the lotus petals and the seated figure visible in high relief despite the abstracted execution. |
