| Obverse description | Four lines of Cyrillic legend arranged horizontally across the field, reading the titulature and name of Despot Stefan. The first line is flanked by two lis (fleur-de-lis) motifs. Below the second line appear four triple pellets, with additional pellets flanking the first line and triple pellets flanking the last line. Two lis and three stars divide the second and third lines, serving as decorative separators in the field. |

| Reverse description | Christ (Jesus) depicted standing in mandorla, shown in frontal orans-like pose holding a Gospel book with both hands before his chest. The figure is rendered in a stylized Byzantine manner typical of medieval Serbian coinage. The Christogram abbreviation IC XC (Iesus Christus) appears divided in the field to the left and right of the central figure, consistent with Orthodox iconographic convention. |
