Reverse description A large tamgha (dynastic symbol) of the Kushan royal house occupies the central field, consisting of a trident-like crown motif above a crossed or anchor-shaped device with pellet terminals, rendered in confident relief. This distinctive Kushan tamgha served as a dynastic emblem and is a hallmark of Kanishka I's fractional gold coinage. The field is plain and uncluttered, with no additional legend or secondary devices. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered production. The design is boldly struck relative to the small module of the coin.
