| Obverse description | Nimbate king standing in profile to the left, wearing an elaborate crown, holding a bow in the right hand and an arrow in the left. A Garuda standard appears to the left of the figure. Encircling legends in Brahmi script surround the central image, identifying the ruler. The design is executed in the characteristic high-relief hammered style of Gupta imperial coinage. |
