| Reverse description | A stepped Zoroastrian fire altar depicted frontally in the centre of the field, rising from a multi-tiered base and surmounted by flames issuing vigorously from the altar's top platform. Two lateral supports or attendant stands flank the central column of the altar. The design is enclosed within a border of raised pellets. A Pahlavi inscription identifying the sacred fire of Ardashir is distributed in the field to left and right of the altar. |
