Obverse description Cult statue of Aphrodite Aineias standing right, holding an aphlaston in her extended right hand; in the background, the forepart of a stag facing right; to the left, a tall sceptre surmounted by a dove perched right. The entire composition is enclosed within a laurel wreath border, lending the design a sacred, votive character consistent with the prominent cult of Aphrodite at Leukas.
