| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with naturalistic modelling of the facial features. The deity's hair flows in long, wavy locks behind the neck, bound by a laurel wreath whose leaves are clearly articulated above the brow. The portrait is youthful and idealized, with soft contours characteristic of late Classical to early Hellenistic Greek die engraving. The field is plain, with no inscription on the obverse. |
