| Obverse description | Mature bearded head of Dionysos in right profile, crowned with a naturalistic ivy wreath bearing leaves and berries rendered in fine relief. The deity's flowing curled hair falls behind the neck, and the beard is elaborately rendered with carefully delineated locks.
