| Obverse description | Draped bust of a nymph facing left, her hair elaborately arranged with a diadem, stephane, and ampyx, adorned with decorative elements including what appear to be earrings and a beaded necklace. The hair is rendered in flowing, detailed locks swept back behind the head. A lyre is depicted in the lower right field, behind her neck, serving as a symbolic attribute. The portrait displays the refined Campanian style characteristic of late fourth- to early third-century BC Greek coinage in southern Italy. |
