| Obverse description | Radiate facing head of Helios, turned very slightly to right, rendered in high relief with characteristically flowing, wavy hair swept back from the forehead and falling to either side; the god's youthful, idealised features are modelled with fine artistic detail typical of the Rhodian engraving tradition. The broad, rounded flan frames the effigy within a plain border, with no inscription on the obverse. |
