Obverse description Youthful male head facing left, depicted in three-quarter relief with finely rendered curling hair bound by a taenia or wreath, exhibiting the naturalistic Hellenistic artistic tradition characteristic of Apulian coinage. The facial features are sensitively modeled, with a slightly parted expression and delicate facial structure. The neck is bare and slightly draped at the truncation.
