Obverse description Central device depicting a crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, set within an oval cartouche or shield-shaped surround. Below the eagle, the arms of Lucerne (barry of azure and argent) are shown on an escutcheon at the base. The date 1615 (or 1610) appears divided in the upper field to the left and right of the crown. A circular Latin legend runs along the outer border within a beaded rim.

A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, enclosed within a beaded border.
