Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style with broad facial features and a flowing beard. The portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with the laurel wreath visible above the brow. The surface shows an attractive green patina consistent with prolonged burial. The style is characteristic of early Achaean League bronze coinage, with bold if somewhat rustic die-cutting.
