| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with flowing, wavy locks framing the face. The effigy displays fine die-engraving detail in the hair and facial features characteristic of early Seleucid bronze coinage. The flan is slightly irregular with a beaded border visible around the periphery. The portrait is positioned centrally within the field, occupying most of the available die space. |

| Reverse description | Athena Promachos striding vigorously to the right in full martial poise, her right arm raised and brandishing a spear, her left arm extended and bearing a large round shield. The goddess is depicted in a short chiton with helmet, rendered in a dynamic Hellenistic style typical of early Seleucid bronzes. The Greek legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY is distributed in the field to either side of the figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Seleucus. Monogram control marks appear in the left and/or right fields depending on the emission, as catalogued under SC1# 17.1–17.3. |
