Obverse description Macedonian round shield depicted in full, its surface decorated with ornamental motifs and bearing a Gorgoneion — the frontal head of a Gorgon — prominently displayed at the center boss. The Gorgon's head is rendered in the archaic tradition, with characteristic apotropaic features. The shield's rim shows decorative patterning typical of Macedonian military iconography of the late 4th and early 3rd century BC.

Reverse description Conical Macedonian kausia-style helmet shown in three-quarter or profile view, fitted with hinged cheek guards and lateral aigrette plumes, rendered in the military style associated with the Macedonian royal court. The abbreviation BA (ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, 'of the king') is inscribed on either side of the helmet's apex. A double axe (labrys) appears in the lower left field at approximately the seven o'clock position, serving as a mint or magistrate control symbol.
