Obverse description Diademed bust of Antiochos XII Dionysos facing right, with curling hair rendered in fine detail and a diadem tied at the back of the head. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic royal tradition, showing the king with a slight beard and draped shoulders visible at the truncation. The effigy fills the obverse field in a bold, high-relief style characteristic of late Seleucid bronze coinage. No legend appears on the obverse.
