Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, with long flowing hair rendered in the Hellenistic style. The portrait is executed with characteristic Seleucid die-cutting, displaying the god's youthful idealized features. The flan is irregular and the surface shows typical ancient bronze patination consistent with the period of Antiochos II Theos.
