| Obverse description | Bare head of the youthful Herakles facing right, surmounted by the scalp of a lion's skin headdress with the paws knotted beneath the chin. The modelling of the face displays a vigorous Hellenistic style, with well-defined features and curling hair visible beneath the leonine cap. The folds and claws of the lion's skin are rendered in careful detail, falling across the neck and shoulder. |

| Reverse description | A lion's skin draped and wrapped around a club, the whole oriented to the right. A monogram appears in the lower right field. The entire design is enclosed within an oak wreath, whose leaves and acorns are rendered in fine relief around the coin's border. The legend ΜΥΣΩΝ ΑΒΒΑ is inscribed within the wreath, identifying the issuing civic authority of the Abbaitis region. |
